Welcome to this week’s blog - as always, thanks for having a read. The six weeks of Summer are over, schools resume this coming week, and the long, lazy days will become an ever dimmer memory. Our area derives a large part of its income from tourism, what we may not appreciate is the positive impact of appearing in a TV programme. For instance, if like us you watch the Channel 5 remake of All Creatures Great and Small, you probably have thought about taking a trip to Yorkshire.
