Welcome to this week’s blog - as always, thanks for having a read. On the run up to the West Sussex County Council elections in May we are reminding you that to vote you must be registered by midnight on Monday 20th April 2026 and the last day to apply for a postal vote is 5pm on Tuesday 21st April 2026. We are sure you are aware by now that Donna, Selsey’s current County Councillor will be our candidate. She may be the only female candidate, which is regrettable considering Sunday, March 8th 2026, is International Women's Day and women only make up 40% of MPs, 30% of the House of Lords, and roughly 41% of local council positions in England. Before the campaign starts, we are seizing every opportunity to do things with family so last Saturday, we met our grandsons at Washbrook Farm in Hurstpierpoint which is very family friendly.
